As a maternity photographer in Winston-Salem, I’ve had the privilege of documenting the start of this incredible journey for many mothers. My aim is to ensure you feel absolutely beautiful and at ease throughout the session. I offer a curated selection of maternity outfits crafted by top designers with luxurious fabrics that complement your radiant body.

During your session, I’ll expertly guide you through poses, whether solo or with your family, ensuring every moment is captured beautifully. My goal is to create a day that’s not only special but also unforgettable.

The Maternity Process

Step 1
Let’s chat!
I know that part of your search for a maternity photographer is finding someone you trust. This is why I like for us to get to know each other before we move forward. We can talk about your vision for the session, find availability for your time frame, and answer any questions you may have.
Maternity sessions typically take place between 30-34 weeks so be sure to book early to reserve your date!
Step 2
Planning!
Once your session date is reserved, it is time to plan your session. We will go through a few aspects to plan for your session.

Step 3
Session day!
No need to stress out, this day will be so much fun! You get to dress up in a beautiful gown to document such an unforgettable moment. I will walk you through each pose and we will capture these beautiful memories.
Step 4
Proof gallery!
If you choose the Petite maternity package or the Studio maternity package, you will receive a soft proof gallery of images with initial editing and watermark within 2 weeks after the session. You will choose your images and I will finish editing and upload your selections in high resolution.

If you choose the Storyteller maternity package, you will receive up to 3 sneak peek images in high resolution within 3 business days after your session.
Step 5
Images delivery!
I know how exciting it is to receive these precious memories. Within 2 weeks of receiving your selections, your proof gallery will be updated with your selections in high resolution and be ready to download.

For the Storyteller package, within 3 weeks after the session, you will receive the entire gallery of high-resolution images that are ready to download.

You will be able to place orders for prints and products from your final gallery. The product will ship to you within 5 business days.

My studio is located in Winston-Salem, NC. I serve greater Piedmont Triad area for outdoor sessions.

Most maternity sessions are scheduled between the 28th and 35th weeks of pregnancy, allowing you to showcase your beautiful baby bump without being too close to your due date. Contact me as soon as you decide to book, and we’ll find a session date that fits your schedule. However, it’s never too late to reach out for a maternity session—I always reserve some availability for last-minute inquiries.

All my maternity packages include complimentary access to my collection of high-end maternity gowns. You are able to visit my studio and try on gowns after your session is reserved.

Absolutely! I love photographing unique outfits that suit you. If you would like to do both, you are welcome to come to the session with your own dress for a few photos and then change into one of my gowns.

Currently, our studio does not offer hair and makeup services. For the best results, I recommend arranging professional hair and makeup before your photoshoot. Choose a style that you’re comfortable with and that reflects your personal taste and personality.

I enjoy photographing families during outdoor maternity sessions—it’s a special moment for everyone involved.

However, for studio maternity sessions, due to the nature of fine art portraiture style, I recommend focusing the spotlight on the mom-to-be. Immediate family members are welcome to join for one setup during the studio session to capture precious moments together.
