Lifestyle family session in the flower field, Dogwood Farms

I had one of my very first family sessions at Dogwood Farms about 5 years ago. Back then it wasn’t as crazy popular as it is nowadays. I had a chance to chat with the farm owner and his son who are super nice people. I learned about their plans to plant flowers in the wide-open fields, and I knew this place would be stunningly beautiful.
Since then, I have come back every year with more families and the fields have yielded more and more flowers, prettier and prettier than ever. It has become one of the most breathtaking views in the Triad.
This mom fell in love with this flower field at first sight when I showed her my photos of Dogwood Farms. She patiently waited for half a year till the flowers bloomed. And I was so delighted that she loved her photos!

I love bringing my animal bonnets that I have been collecting for my own kiddos over the years and putting them on my little clients. Mom had an idea of a “Where the Wild Things Are” theme for her baby boy’s first birthday photo which paired up with my wolf bonnet. They are so cute and perfect!

Oh hey! She found the little horse I hid in the flowers. How cute is she rocking on the horsey!

At the end of the session, we walked towards the little pond next to the flowers where I always love capturing family stories, especially when their images are reflected in the water.

Dogwood Farms offers different flower fields throughout the year. If you want me to capture your family stories, don’t hesitate to contact me. I would love to work with you!
