Planning your next family photoshoot in Winston-Salem? This blog will help you find the perfect photo spot! Whether you’re drawn to serene greenery or the charm of urban architecture, Winston-Salem is a city brimming with hidden gems. I’m confident you will find a location that catches your eye and perfectly captures your family’s unique vibe.
Reynolda Gardens and Museum
Reynolda Gardens and Museum in Winston-Salem is an absolute gem for family photo sessions. Curated gardens, a beautiful greenhouse, and the little fountain with lily pads, all of which can be a fun spot for your curious little ones during the session. Not to mention the open field in the front of the museum that showcases a breathtaking view while your little ones can roam freely on the lawn, great oppotunity for storytelling moments. One of my favorite spots is the waterfall which is well hidden along the pathway towards Wake Forest University, it is the perfect spot to finish the session and add a little splash at the end.

Tanglewood Park
Tanglewood Park in Clemmons is full of its characters. From peaceful walking trails to serene lakes and golf courses. My favorite photo spots here are the Arboretum, with its gardens that provide a timeless and elegant setting, and the horse stable open field, which adds a touch of rustic charm. If you’re lucky, you will be greeted by friendly giant horses. Tanglewood Park is a fantastic location for capturing beautiful family moments.
If you are booking the Petite session, you can choose either the Arboretum or Horse stable; if you are the booking Storyteller session, you are able to shoot at both locations.
