Winston Salem Cake Smash Photographer | Mermaid first birthday session

I have been fascinated by the mermaid tales since I read The Little Mermaid story by Hans Christian Andersen. When Disney adapted the original story and made it a happy ending, that made this story even better.

I was so excited when her mommy picked out this mermaid background. It was actually still during her baby’s newborn session one year ago. So we both have been waiting for a year for this mermaid birthday session to come to life.

I especially love this dress I purchased from a handmade photo prop vendor. Her craft is simply breathtaking! You can tell from all the little details on her dress. I do love buying dresses from handmade prop vendors, you can definitely tell the difference between the mass-produced items and elaborately hand-crafted items.

Here comes the cake!!! We switched to a cute mermaid bathing suit for her cake smash. And she just the cutest in both outfits, isn’t she?!

Milk Bath is an add-on for the cake smash session. And her mommy mentioned she loves bath and splash when she at home, so the milk bath is a must for her! Her mommy was right, she was so happy when she was splashing in the little bathtub.
