Greensboro baby photographer | Celebrate first birthday with Wild one cake smash session

We had the most delightful time celebrating this little guy’s first birthday with a cake smash photo session! His mom drove all the way from Wilmington for this special moment, and let me tell you, her effort was absolutely worth it. From the second we started, he was all smiles and giggles, making every shot an absolute treasure. As soon as his mom placed him in the spotlight, he was camera-ready, lighting up the session with his precious little joy.

Before it gets messy, we always started with baby’s portraits. He was dressed in the cutest lion hat, sat in front of a jungle-themed backdrop, smiling at his mommy. No need to warm up, light on and let’s capture his first birthday celebration, ROAR~~

Then let the fun begin, the cake smash! We prepared a vanilla cake with whipped cream, and let’s just say he didn’t hold back. He tasted, smashed, and thoroughly enjoyed every bit of it. By the end, there wasn’t much left of the cake, but there were plenty of happy memories, sticky fingers and sticky toes.

We wrapped up the session with a baby milk bath, which turned out to be just as fun. He splashed around, giggling with pure joy, and I was there to capture every precious moment. His mom couldn’t stop smiling—seeing her little one so happy brought her so much joy.

This session was a blast for all of us, and I’m thrilled to have been a part of such a special milestone!
